be360 Design is a London-based design agency with expertise in graphic
design, branding, image retouching and art direction.
FOUNDATION
Founded in 2006, by Bukola Dagiloke, the agency produces strong, dynamic
design and photography that challenges the way we see urban graphics.
Her work on projects like the Dizzee Rascal's 'Flex' music video, where she
designed the Flex Factor back drop, has seen Bukola steadily develop a
reputation for informative design and typography. As a graduate of the University
of the Arts London, she secured the role of creative editor at Urban Photography,
a photographic studio based in East London. Her experience retouching Abby
Clancy’s portfolio for Janice Dickenson’s TV show Beauty & The Best and the
successful creation of the Housework and Black 2008 Calendar's, racy annual's
that find men putting muscle behind domestic chores and sports, helped Bukola
learn how to cater for the specific needs of clients and develop a strong
understanding of art direction and photography. The broad portfolio of skills
Bukola now commands, enables her bring a holistic approach to be360 Design.
INSPIRATION The Manchester-raised designer draws much of her inspiration from film,
photography and design movements - in particular Modernism and the Bauhaus.
Designers such as Abram Games and Roy Lichenstien, film directors Quinton
Tarantino, Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick and Chinese director Zhang Yimou
also get her creative juices flowing.
MANIFESTO "Some people don't really value or appreciate their environment," states
Bukola. "They take things for granted and it comes across in the way they
treat each other and the environment. With good design people appreciate
things more and take better care of them. A person who might not read many
books might see a powerful image or some great typography on a poster and
you could open their mind."
