Welcome to Believe & Succeed! - Meet the team

Believe & Succeed is an online magazine created by an energetic group of 11-15 year olds at Priory Court Youth Club who have a passion for fashion, music, computer games, food and more.
Want to know what we have in store? Why not have a word with the team… |
Why did you create Believe & Succeed?
Tawny: We wanted to show we are a good community. People try to stereotype us as bad people, but we’re not. We are not all about the gangs, we all stick together as a team - it’s not a gang, it’s called teamwork. We all have our own positions, which is really important. Everyone plays their part in making the magazine a success.
Paige: We want people to notice that there are good young people out there. We want to tell people to believe in themselves and to try to succeed in life and to make the right decisions. |
Lou: We live in an area where there are a lot of gangs. Some people think we are in a gang, just because we live in that area. Just because there are gangs around, it doesn’t mean we are all in gangs. Not all of us rep for a gang. When people go other places and cause trouble it comes back to us and we have to deal with the shooting and police searches. This is our way of making a change. |

Why the name?
You should always believe in yourself and if you believe you will succeed. If you don’t believe in yourself, you aren’t gonna do anything. Believe & Succeed represents us. We made it. We didn’t have to do it; we chose to put our time and effort into it
